Ok so I just wanted to do a review on this particular product. It's the Jergens Healthy Complexion Daily Facial Moisturizer and basically what is does is it's supposed to give you like a really nice, natural looking glow.
It's supposed to be LIKE a self tanner but it isn't because you won't see an immediate change in your skin tone and it does say this on the packaging. You're supposed to be able to see a change after using the product for a week. So I decided to test out this product. I started using it last Sunday and I applied it at night before I went to bed. Now to be on the safe side, as I do with my foundation as well, after applying the product onto my face I used whatever little was left on my fingers and applied this on to my neck so that if there was a noticeable change in color I would look two different shades of brown. But there wasn't really much of a change.
So after using this for a week, I can honestly say that I have realized a slight change in the color, but nothing drastic and extremely noticeable though. I know the picture above makes it look like I got fairer but that really wasn't the case (I'm sorry. I guess it turned out like that because of the lighting or something). Anyway, I have noticed that my skin looks a little more glowy and it's not like a dull color. That's all I can really say color wise.
HOWEVER, I absolutely LOVE this as a moisturizer! My skin feels SO EXTREMELY soft that I'm going to go look for a plain Jergens Moisturizer! I just absolutely love this in terms of what it does for my skin! I think it's great ... I love using it under my makeup like before I apply my foundation on or even if I'm just going some place casual and I don't need foundation then I'll just apply this and let it dry before throwing on some light weight powder and then I'll be good to go! It does have a little bit of shimmer in the it but nothing extremely noticeable. And I guess that's what kinda makes it look really nice on the skin!
So in conclusion, I love this :) I'll probably continue using it for another 2 weeks and then let you guys know what I think in terms of the color! However, if you're looking for a good moisturizer I definitely recommend getting a Jergens one! If you wanna try this out I say go ahead! There's absolutely no harm in doing so!
